Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-24
This policy explains how Ness Media ("we", "us") handles information in connection with our website (yt.meersucces.online) and our internal YouTube management application (the "App"). Ness Media is operated by the Ness Media team, based in the Netherlands. Contact: kamil+yt@meersucces.online.
1. Who the App is for
The App is a private, internal tool. It is used only by the Ness Media team to manage YouTube channels that we own or manage. It is not offered to the public, and we do not connect accounts of other people or businesses.
2. Information we access through Google and YouTube APIs
When a channel owner on our team authorizes the App with Google, the App may access the following, only for that channel:
| Google permission (scope) | What we use it for |
|---|---|
youtube.upload — upload YouTube videos |
Uploading videos that a person on our team has approved, with their title, description, tags, thumbnail and scheduled publish time. |
youtube.readonly — view your YouTube account |
Confirming which channel was connected (channel ID and name) and reading the list and metadata of the channel's own videos. |
yt-analytics.readonly — view YouTube Analytics reports |
Reading aggregated channel and video statistics (such as views, watch time, subscribers gained) to understand what works. |
We also store the OAuth access and refresh tokens that Google issues, so the App can act for the connected channel without asking to sign in every time.
We do not access Gmail, contacts, files, or any Google data outside these YouTube permissions. We do not access comments or messages of viewers through the App.
3. Other information
- Public YouTube data. For research, we read publicly available information about public channels and videos (titles, view counts, upload dates, public captions and thumbnails). This is public information about channels, not personal data about viewers.
- Website visitors. The website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
4. How we use information
We use the information above only to provide the App's features to our own team: uploading approved videos, checking which channel is connected, and analysing channel performance to improve our content. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build user profiles.
5. Google API Services: Limited Use
Ness Media's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described in this policy.
- We do not transfer Google user data to others, except as needed to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice.
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data, except with the channel owner's consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when the data is aggregated and used for internal operations.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
6. Service providers
We use the following kinds of providers to run the App. They act on our instructions:
- Hosting: our own virtual server in the European Union, where tokens and data are stored.
- AI services: we use AI services (such as Anthropic for writing and analysis, fal.ai for images and video, ElevenLabs for voice-over) to create our own content. When our team asks an AI assistant to analyse our channel's aggregated statistics, those statistics may be processed by that provider solely to produce the analysis for us.
- Google / YouTube: to upload videos and read analytics, as described above.
7. YouTube API Services
The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
8. Storage, security and retention
- OAuth tokens are stored on our server in files readable only by the App's system account, and are never shared.
- Data obtained from YouTube API Services (such as statistics and video metadata) is kept no longer than 30 days unless it is refreshed through the API, in line with the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. Aggregated reports and our own notes derived from that data may be kept as long as they are useful for running our channels.
- When access is revoked or a channel is disconnected, we delete the stored tokens and the stored API data for that channel within 30 days.
9. Revoking access and deletion
A channel owner can revoke the App's access at any time on the Google security settings page (or myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps with account access). You can also ask us to delete stored data by contacting kamil+yt@meersucces.online; we will do so within 30 days.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in the Netherlands: the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). To exercise your rights, contact kamil+yt@meersucces.online.
11. Children
Our website and the App are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes will be announced on this page.
